Sunday afternoon found us at a wonderful Antique Mall -- Artichoke Annie’s near Columbia, Missouri. If you’re in the area and have never visited, may I just say…
By all means… GO!!!
I don’t know why it took us so long to finally get there. I was in awe of all the wonderful items. This mosaic is compliments of the cell phone camera.
They are open 8AM to 8PM every day. We were also told that they are hosting a HUGE flea market this coming Saturday, October 2nd.
And, after looking around for a couple of hours there, what did I buy? (Willpower is my middle name – sometimes…)
A burlap potato sack for an upcoming project -- $6.00. More to come on that endeavor later (if successful).
Hope your week is off to a great start!

Have not been there--sounds like a great place to visit.
Will have to check it out next time I'm there.
Happy Tuesday!

We wetn to Artichoke Annie's flea market last year. I can't remember if we bought any fleas or not.
PW wants to get together, the guys will hammer we will shop. Let us know when . . I am off Wednesday this week, and Tues, Wed and Thurs. next week.
If they hammer here, we could do the outlet mall at the lake.
Tammy, those were great pics using a cell phone. I'd like to visit some new antique malls. I've worn ours out. Still, it's a little far away. What'd ya buy?
Tammy, my kinda place. I would love to come down and go with you one weekend. You were very good--a burlap sack. I need that willpower. At the Country LIving Fair I saw some awesome burlap goodies...pillows and a cute bench with the seat covered in burlap. Can't wait to see what you do :)

Now that looks like fun! I wish there were places like that in my neck of the woods.
Love the photos and I can't wait to see the burlap goodies!!

Lucky you! This looks like a fabulous place! I don't think I'd have ANY willpower in a place like this!
Chris
Hey there. Nice to see you and what a bonus... antique goodies to feast my eyes upon.
Your very practical Tammy! Thinking ahead (smile). I can remember getting lost in a huge antique store on a trip to Reno once- so much to see!
Well I just want to wish you the best new Fall to all of you- and a great week ahead!
My kind of place! I can't wait to see what you do with that burlap sack.
Hi Tammy!
Wow, I want to go with you there!! Now that is my kind of place to spend some time! Those are some amazing pictures you get with your camera phone. Very nice!
Can not wait to see your burlap project. I just know it will be amazing too! No pressure though;)
Thanks for the visit yesterday. I had to drop in your place and say hi and see what you've been up to.
Take care and have an awesome day!
xoxox,
Ellen
I've been to Artichoke Annie's and love it. It is a great place to spend the day brousing and seeing all sorts of old and often unusual things.
This certainly does look like it should be fun!
Teresa
ok...what is an antique mall?
Looks like fun...I like the doll house. We definitely do not have any such place around here....probably a GOOD thing!
I love Artichoke Annies and the Marketplace too!
My kind of shopping! I cannot wait to see your pics from the flea market! I would shop this *way* rather than in a mall anytime :)
Wishing you a wonderful day! xo, misha

I LOVE browsing thru places like that! You never know what you're going to find.
Wow--that looks so amazing and fun. I will definitely have to go! Thanks for the tip!
Hi Tammy!
Oh what fun and what a wonderful place to cruise around looking! You did really well only picking up one item...but I can relate as I've done that a few times at the Flea Markets here in the past. Looking forward to seeing what you do with your sack...I still haven't done anything with my small one I bought at the flea market. I need ideas! Have a wonderful Thursday
Maura :)
your mosaic shows some beauties! i wish i had one of these near here!!! thanks for sharing. Catherine
I've heard of that place and I want to go some day. I don't like all that far from it and my husband goes to the V.A. in Columbia. Guess I will go with him to his next appointment and make a day of it.
I would have abandoned all willpower at the door. By the way, I just found your blog and LOVE it! Consider me your newest follower!
We are just getting our first eggs from our "girls" too. Isn't it exciting. I weigh and log every egg--they are so precious.
Hi Tammy! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am so glad you visited AA, isn't it amazing! I started reading through your blog tonight, I love it so far!
I pass through Columbia every single time I go to Ohio for a visit... so I guess I'm going to have to make Columbia my overnight stay on the way home next time so I can visit AA!! :)
