Blue Skies and Hee Haws!

First, I want to thank so many of you who commented last week about your “roots.” I enjoyed them all!

Second… I cannot even believe I’ve gone more than a week without posting. Truth is, our weather has been blah. And so have I. But today we have a bit o’ blue sky, and life is good.

Here’s a quick mosaic from today. Our Fall color is only beginning in this neck of the woods.

If you time things just right around here, you can see the most amazing rodeo in the back yard. Hee Haw Style. Loud, hearty brays can be heard, as well as lots of playful, teasing kicking. And running. Lots of running. Here are a few pics from their play time today. You may notice that the girls are getting their Winter coats now.

Gracie kicks (please pardon our muddy coats as we didn’t have time to get all prettied up) ~

Rodeo time ~ What a joy to watch…

I’ll leave you with this…

… and a hope that wherever you may be, you’re not being deprived of Blue Skies and Sunshine, and cute fuzzy kittens to cuddle (or the equivalent thereof). Because, as we all know, it’s the little things that really count!

Love the donkeys! It's so nice to see the sun today, after church I worked off lunch by cleanign out the flower beds since we got our first frost last night.

Your mosaic is very cool and Gracie and Ruby are sweeties! We finally had a nice weather Sunday yesterday. Beautiful sun, but windy and cool. We built a fire outside and stayed out all afternoon. I have been feeling a little blah myself. Love that sweet fuzz face kitty!!

ADorable pics! My gracie is 15, and she throws tantrums of the teenage kind...no one goes near her when she's kicking. *grin*
Great post....

Gracie and Ruby are so cute! We have one; but she's slightly older. No, she's plain OLD but still out there in the pasture. She's been in the family a long time.

Yea to Blue Skies!

I too enjoyed the little dab of sunshine we had, but it's cloudy now, and I guess rain to come. Oh well, at least we had a LITTLE bit of a break! Yes, the color is just beginning and I love fall . . . just wish it didn't turn into winter :0! Keep on postin'!!!! I love reading your blog :)!

I love your fall color. Beautiful. This year we grew pumpkins for the first time, and hosted a neighborhood pumpkin growing contest on Saturday. It was grand fun. And now that we've harvested all the pumpkins, they are scattered all around the front yard, deck, and driveway. It's looking pretty festive and fallish around here :)

I am with ya on that thought -- it is truly the little things that count!!! I love the pics of the little buckaroos, they are just adorable. And kittens are always adorable, there's just no arguing that one. :)

Hope you're having a wonderful Sunday!
