I am reminded of one of my favorite hymns lately at sunrise. It is so very dry here and for the most part our Autumn color suffers, but Wow! We have had some breathtaking sunrises and sunsets.
Yesterday’s morning view from the kitchen window
We have taken some fun little road trips over the past several weeks and, of course, the usual local Amish trips.
Mostly, our trips are nearby or along paths familiar to us.. like this wonderful Historical Event at Mexico, Missouri. Many eras were represented during “Walk Back in Time.”
I always admire this old service station along our weekly route.
A gorgeous sunflower field. Acres and acres of smiles on Highway 15 between Mexico and Paris. This was a few weeks ago.
I am about halfway through the Missouri Master Gardening course. Learning lots (now just to remember half of it)!
Did you know that gross, disgusting tomato hornworms turn into some really beautiful creatures? I’m going to reconsider feeding them to my chickens.. hmmm.
Guess who will be celebrating their First Anniversary in a few days! We love this couple <3 By the way, if I haven’t mentioned it… since late Spring they have been our neighbors on the Farm!
Wishing you Happy Trails and many lovely sunrises and sunsets. (psssst… Come back next week for a Giveaway!)

Always, always enjoy your photos. Next installment want to see the farm, and especially two precious donkeys. Please with sugar on it...
love that hymn as well but Surely Goodness and Mercy...is ever on my lips and mind. I'm not asking permission...but if you object, I won't...would like to send an e-mail to This Old House and tell them about the Mr.'s hand crafted trowel's.
What say you two?
Beautiful Photos...I dearly love your Photos...they are just beautiful....

sweet scenes, especially that last one. :)
We are dry here too. KC may get rain tomorrow, I just
hope it doesn't knock off all the pretty leaves until
I can get some pics.
It seems like the wedding was just yesterday!
Good luck on your class.

Beautiful header Tammy! Your pictures are a treat!
Between Mexico and Paris. Y'all know how to take a drive! HAHA! Enjoyed your pictures and words. I have to envy your nearness to your neighbors. Our closest loved ones are 3 1/2 hours away, but they just spent 2 lovely weeks here with us and we loved it. We'll be traveling from central Illinois to North Carolina for Thanksgiving. I love me some Smokies! Best wishes and hugs to you for the coming beautiful seasons. I'll try and post.
