The photos in this collage were taken with a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II (a/k/a the “nifty fifty”), which just arrived today. I’m still very much an amateur, but wow, this lens is almost magic. And very cheap too, especially with the Amazon certificate I had. Needless to say, snap*snap*snap is about all I accomplished so far tonight (except of course for critter care!). Fun, fun, fun…
It was my intention to take some pictures of the cattle tonight after work, but they had other ideas and headed for the back forty.
Still no porch floor for the Barn/Cottage. However, the last time I checked, the weather looks dry for Monday and Tuesday. Fingers and toes crossed!
Hope y’all have a great weekend! Till we meet again in the great blogosphere…

Just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to leave a note telling you how much I enjoyed visiting with you! I am in the process of putting in a garden and for the first time this year will be doing lettuce. I loved seeing your lettuce growing and got some ideas from it! Thanks! Enjoy your day!
I loved your photo collage. I need to sit down with you at lunch one day this next week and share some of your photography attributes. I have been out in the greenhouse today trying to work on some container gardening. As always my minds eye and my budget are nowhere near close. I am always robbing from one bed transplanting to another. Maybe when I am 80 I will have them where I want them. "Wait a minute" After bending over a million times today my back feels like it is 90+ years old! I wish I could somehow meld my want to do list with my physical capabilities list. Not to mention that ugly thing called time factor. I can never seem to get my list to equal my available time frame. Have a wonderful weekend. Love your Blog! Gwenieann
