Long Ears Psychology 101

Mr. W made a new hay feeder for the girls’ stall today.

It is just perfect for them.

However, it may take a while for Ruby and Gracie to research this matter and realize that this feeder is perfect for them.

You see, Donkeys are smart… very smart. You may have always heard that donkeys are stubborn. Soooo not true. They just have to take awhile to decide that a situation is safe, and will not cause harm to them.

Therefore, we cannot take a bite of hay from this feeder until we figure it all out.

Sniff… sniff… think, think, think. Hmmmm, have to use great caution here. This contraption may spray out some fly goop (we hate fly spray).  Or… perchance… something evil may hurl out at us…

Backing out of the stall…

Retreat!! This unidentified object has not been deemed safe yet!! It’s a trick!! Run for your life!!

Having removed themselves from the “potentially harmful situation”, the girls now discuss the matter.

I predict that tonight Ruby and Gracie will finally reach the conclusion that the new feeder isn’t gonna bite :)

The girls look like they are enjoying a beautiful summer day.

Mr P did a good job on that feeder. Like
teenagers they will some day acknowledge that.

Think the new feeders are really neat. Really enjoyed your pic's on your blog. The horses are incredible! Your donkeys look like fun. My grandpa had a borrow when I lived in Alaska as a child. He ate cigars. Glad I found you as I was surfing.
Blessings to your day!

Thank you so much for coming over! That is interesting about the tobacco. I didn't know that. I had forgot to tell you that that he lived in a saloon. The men just fed him cigars. That's what they were called up home. Alaska was a rugged place to live. I lived there for 21 years and then moved to Kansas. I loved Alaska, but like I said it was a real frontier land. We got to homestead 48 acres. Right under a huge mountain. I have a lot of wonderful memories with homesteading and all. Well have a nice day. I will be putting up a new post today about my little quinines.
Blessings to you, we are off to church..........
Oh, I love the scripture on your calendar. To think that He is seeking the lost. I love it. I am glad He found me.
