It rained…. cats??

We had a wonderful, plentiful rain on Saturday the 4th. Suddenly, the next day these appeared~

This little cutie…

And this one…

How can this be? Hmmm, strange things really do happen out in the country!

We had a beautiful sky tonight at dusk.

Even ol’ Allis looked lovely in the glow.

Oh, and here is something else the rain brought in. At least he was just a little guy – on the Barn/Cottage porch. And I was barefoot (either: really brave, or really not thinking at this moment).

Hope your week is going great!

Think the neighbor lady would settle for one of those kittens?

Oh they are darling! Have they decided to call Flatcreek Farm "home"?
Our farm is the same. We moved here with 1 dog and 4 cats (and of course the horses). We now have 3 dogs, and ....14 cats! We keep the vet in business, thats for sure :)
Awesome pics, Tammy!

p.s. I did my siggie but I can't figure out where on "customize" to put the HTML Code. Do you know? Thanks!

Nice snake picture. I still haven't seen any this summer, but I know they are around. What cute cats too! We have some stray / feral farm cats around. We haven't seen them nearly as often now that the donkeys are around, though.

Ok, the kitties are precious! I'd say they are keepers for sure. The snake on the other hand...I think he would have to skedaddle in my books. *grin* We have had a couple snakes out in the garden and in the back of the property lately and I am so not a fan of snakes. Thank GOD they have been garden snakes, but they are still snakes!

I may as well be barefoot... I take the dogs outside on their leads with my flip flops on. I do try to watch where I walk, but sometimes I'm not paying attention. I've caught thistles sometimes, on the edges of my feet. OW! One of these days, I'm gonna step in something really gross (a dead rat?) and maybe then I'll quit with the flip flops!!

Those kitties are ADORABLE. Look at those sweet eyes! Are you keeping them?
