Fall Foliage Kaleidoscope

The dogs and I just returned from a wonderful walk around the farm. I started in the yard and worked my way around our acreage, soaking up the most beautiful Fall color and scenery I could find. After a few days of not feeling up to par, I think this is just the medicine I was waiting for.

Are you ready? Off we go on our walk.

Here is a peek at a portion of our tractor and walking path. Banjo always stays a few steps ahead ~ just in case anything exciting pops up.

I took a thousand pictures (really, I think I did). Here is the remainder of our walk in mosaic form.

Thanks for sharing our walkabout today! We don’t seem to be at our peak Fall foliage just yet, but it’s off to a lovely start.

How’s Fall shaping up in your neck of the woods?

We haven't hit our peak yet either, but it's getting there. What lovely photos of your walkabout. Seeing the woodpile brings back memories. We just finished filling our woodshed on the weekend. I was surprised to find I really enjoyed it. If I was closer, I would come and stack for you! Instead I'll keep nursing this blasted cold.

Be well! ~Andrea~

Oh so lovely...thanks for sharing it with us. It's been grey and drizzly and yuk here, so I haven't been able to enjoy the foliage as much as I'd like.

The rich deepening hues..from dark to light and everything in between- including your dog! Did you do this just to make everyone drool? (lol) Awesome..can't think almost a more lovely time of year- thanks

Ii loved going on the walk with you. Our woods are all yellow too, not much red. I raked some tonight. I'm sure the rain will take a lot more of the leaves off tonight and tomorrow.

Hope you are feeling better.

Our son was finally diagnosed today with Lime disease. They have tried to figure it out for weeks now. Hopefully with the medicine, his "spells" will come to an end.

Take care, tell PW hello. Phyllis showed me his picture in his work jacket!

Thanks Tammy for the great fall pics. I just love fall time. Love taking walks and admiring all the lovely changes in the landscape. We are taking my mother in law for a drive this weekend for her 72 birthday. She is excited about seeing the changing leaves. So am I!

Wow, what wonderful pictures and scenery!
I wish it would quit raining here so we could enjoy some cold, crisp mornings! Doesn't look like that is going to happen anytime soon.
Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving the sweet comment about my goat Ralph!!

The pictures were lovely and I'm glad to see fall again because it's over here.
Mountain Man is in your neck of the woods and every day he calls me and tells me how amazing it is out there. I'm shivering here.

I don't think the fall colors are going to be that great this year, but I still love looking at them and yours is wonderful! Glad your feeling better.

Gorgeous pics! The tree on our front patio is now crimson and the other yard trees are bright yellow and orange.
Also it's a yucky rainy day today... No walk about for me! or the poor dogs...

Dandy's comment reminded me..Have I told you I LOVE your sons music?

OMG! You didn't do just one mosaic, you did THREE! Awesome pics as usual. Don't you love how the pups always walk ahead?! Our Sadie Louise is always the leader. J says it's because if there is anything icky to roll in she wants to make sure we don't get there first!! I have always wondered what it would be like to roll in coyote poo... NOT!
I keep meaning to post on your hometown post. Loved it so much. The home you grew up in is beautiful. Give us a tour sometime!
Blessings, ( and kisses to Ruby and Gracie)

Beautiful pictures Tammy! The top picture with Banjo running the tractor path is very cool. Every year just when I think the ShoMe state is going to let me down she puts on some beautiful autumn party colors! The drive to Columbia up 63 on the bluffs is awesome.

The colors here have peaked, so we are on the downside of a beautiful fall. The leaves are coming down, but there are still a few trees that are loaded. I wish fall would last longer.

Looks like Fall in your neighborhood! Our Fall is beautiful. Well except for the snow last week. The colors are still holding on! Love your pictures!

Hey Tammy....I love looking at your blog. Seeing those pictures makes me really miss home this time of year. I married a farmer down in SE Kansas, so I guess I'm here for life now...but thats ok cause I love it. At least where we live there are lots of trees and I get to see some beautiful fall colors. O and Yes I remeber you guys....I am friends with John on facebook. Hope all is well!!!

I just love walkabouts on the property. Thinking I should head outside this afternoon for one with the dogs. I'm sure they would appreciate it.

Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling up to snuff, and so very sorry about your runny grape jam!!! :-(
