Preparing for Thundersnow

I really don’t care for that term, but that’s what the weather service is predicting for our region beginning late tonight.

It seems that everyone is preparing for the impending weather. I love these two “yard buddies” side by side, gathering fallen sunflower seeds. Mr. Squirrel was fixin’ to take off…

I am editing and updating this post to add some music from our son, the Fiddler and friends. Hope you enjoy. We’re all putting on our Snowshoes here!

Be safe out there, friends!

Tammy I will take the thundersnow over the freezing rain they are predicting for us. One more assault on our trees! I hate winter storms and will be glad when this one is over! Your little squirrel is a cutie!

That is pretty neat that you got a picture of both of those animals together. I know God created it all and I sure am glad I am a person and not an animal having to forage the ground for food! Also, I am thankful that your weather isn't here!!!

I can handle snow, but ice scares me. I'll be on pins and needles until this storm is over and I know everyone is safe. Good job getting the squirrel and cardinal in the same photo! Cute!

We got the junk too. Gag, so ready for Spring and to get busy working on the farm before the heat of Summer.

Stay Safe.

Are you ready!

G. L. is beside himself with the weather. It will be interesting
to see what happens. We are as
ready as can be.

Be safe,

I am watching the weather channel right now. Funny they only gave it a letter not a full name. Stay safe from sunny but chilly So. Calif.

We are expecting almost half a foot in central Illinois. We haven't had that much snow in a couple of years. Need the water for sure! I got groceries yesterday and I'm ready to hunker down and crochet and read. Love the header pic!

I really enjoyed the fiddle music. Such talent!

This thundersnow is kinda freaky.

Squirrel! We are expecting just some sleet/freezing rain...which is fine because I am going to be in Florida.

Your photos are just stunning! I saw on Instagram that Missouri was having thundersnow. Interesting! We had snow, sleet, freezing rain and I'm not sure what it is doing now. Love your blog!
