Barnyard {foot} Couture & Spring’s Return

Actually, I think these new chicken wellies will be my Town Boots, and not Barn Boots. They are just too cool for school (at least in my mind!). chix_wellies1

Again, a Blogger friend shared a tip on a great deal and I’m passing it on to you. Thanks, Sue at Country Pleasures blog!  These wellies are factory seconds from Gardeners Supply. Originally, $50… now half price because they are slightly imperfect. {Oh, but they are perfect to me.} Use this code:  XXXX1957 and get free shipping! (psssst…. they also have tomato boots for the same price – they look really cute as well).

Spring is here! I’ll briefly mention we also have a chance for snow and cold temps later this week. Nuff said about that! Notice the green clover in the first boot picture above? Many signs of Spring’s awakening here. The red bud trees are bursting and ready to bloom. Our Missouri Conservation calendar says they’ll be blooming next week. We also have the Purple Martin houses raised and ready for purple occupants  (“we” means Mr. W, by the way).

Happy Spring, Everyone!

I saw them too and loved them! Now there's only one problem...I'm tall, and I know my feet have to be large enough to handle the height, but there are never, ever cute boots in 10 extra-wide. Yep, extra-wide...it's a sad thing to see such cuteness I can't be a part of! Enjoy them, they're adorable!-Mary

Those are simply the most stylish wellies I've ever seen! Very cute indeed! Seems patterned wellies are totally in vogue these days and I have my eye on a pair with assorted flowers all over them. Great for the garden! We're expecting snow too but at least we know it won't last. Happy Spring!

Saw those chicky boots recently and loved them, didn't think they were 50 bucks cute though.
I was thrilled to see your post.
Couldn't decide which ones, because they are both so adorable.
They only had the t'maters in my size so easy decision!
Thanks sooooo much for sharing with us!!

Last week I searched high and low for these books; they were mislabeled in Woman's Day mag. I couldn't find them and now that you've given the correct website, they are out of my size!
