winter wonderful-land

This morning we awoke to a beautiful frozen fog. Is it just me, or does this seem to happen a lot more the past couple of winters? Okay by me… it’s lovely to look at.

After morning chores and a quick photo session around the yard, I headed to my hair artiste, who also happens to have a wonderful talent for decorating and all things creative. She had recently acquired this cabinet. Love! She and her dad had also cut it down slightly to better fit in her kitchen. I want one! I couldn’t resist a quick phone pic. I always enjoy my hairdo days, and our visits in her adorable country beauty salon.

Thanks again, dear friends, for your wonderful, sweet, healing words of comfort. I appreciate them more than you will know. Big hugs to all!

Hi Tammy, wasn't the frosty morning pretty? You got some great shots of it. That is a neat looking cabinet in the beauty salon. Sounds like several of the bloggers have the same goal in mind...to get our hair done! I go Thursday for my haircut and I can't wait. Take care!

You have such a wonderful way with words. I did not get a chance to tell you that the words that were read by the preacher by you were a great tribute to grandma. I know she was smiling down on all of us and will be with us forever in our hearts.

Susan

You have such a way with words and I love how your blog page is set up. I did not get a chance to tell you how your words that were read at grandma's funeral touched my heart. They were a great tribute to her and I know she was very proud of you. Though we will have a big void in our life with her gone, the memories will live on forever.

It's the fog that makes the hoarfrost. I love it!

I'm swooning over that cabinet! Wow ... Flat Creek Farm looks gorgeous, and frozen in time, during the fog! It must be so peaceful during your morning chores (with the exception of all the greetings from your critters awaiting their breakfast). Hope you're starting to feel better. xox

Hi Sweet Tammy! Your Aunt's video was just so precious. So so precious. I'm so sorry for your loss. We've had a frozen fog for what seems like a month - I can't remember the last time I saw the sun. I went to my hair artist yesterday with a birthday gift card and got a hair cut - I said 'I want to look artsy and cool' and now my bangs are an inch long. Law.

Yikes..I need a hair cut badly!! I snipped here and there and now I need to visit the shop! (lol)..well your mosaic is gorgeous and yes- how are all your animals? I agree..last year we didn't have snow and I missed that.
Stop by if you can..I posted the other half of that Lake on the summit.

I hope you are doing ok, Tammy. Losing someone you love so very much is oh, so difficult. We are all here for you!

What a beautiful blog! The video of your Grandma brought tears. I so miss my own who died long ago. One at 77 one at 91. They were wonderful role models and I am always learning more about how to follow some of the things I learned from them.
